Clipping software assisted by AI, Mask AI from Topaz Labs has just received a deep update improving among other things, both its interface and its models for automatic creation of clipping masks.
Topaz Labs has regularly updated its assisted clipping software and creation of Mask AI retouching masks since 2019. But versions 1.0.3 to 1.0.7 had made only minor corrections. The versions 1.1.0 and particularly this 1.2.0 bring, them, important improvements, at an equivalent time as a discount "spring". No change in compatibility, Mask AI still works on Mac OS since 10.12 Sierra or more, and Windows from 7, to 8, or 10 in 64 bits. And its implementation remains the same: an easy "coarse" highlighting, within the reach of the foremost clumsy of designers, is enough to designate the engine of AI the contours of an object, a neighborhood that we would like hide, to exchange it with another. The task is even simpler in version 1.2.0, with the Auto Detect Sky function, the addition of the colour Range tool to vary the colour (in green or red) of the highlight, and a more precise AI clipping.
